Eye in the sky
You are so vain (sadder you'll become).
People look and say: "what came you for?
The horizon need not you more (Carpenter)."
They prompt you in a defiant way:
" the ocean had fallen down
in the depths of the Styx.
No more water in the craddle of seas.
What did you come for then,
we do not tell lies
You are no more welcome here".
"I did not come to fix", I replied.
"Who can fix that shame?
I came to watch
through the God's pupils, oh my,
what men do in my Name
in vain.
what they pretend to sell to others
in my pretense."
"I saw what I saw.
I horrified myself to the spectacle
of the blood of my sons
soaking the soil.
my soil, my blood,
my laws, my rules: thrown away."
"I'll do what my privileges allow to me.
Give peace to the good men
Hell to the others.
I am the eye in the sky, fools.
Ocean it's me"
